The Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair will connect Porto in northern Portugal to Seville in the Spanish province of Andalusia.
The charms of the Andalusian capital will soon be available for passengers on a new direct Porto-Seville route.
The airline announced that the new route will be incorporated in the winter schedule and available from October 2018. The service will be operated three times per week; details regarding the schedule are to be disclosed in March, when the tickets for the new route go on sale on the carrier’s website.
To celebrate the launching of the route, Ryanair offer promotional prices starting from €19.99 for bookings carried out before midnight Friday, February 16th.
The airline does not face direct competition on this route.

In recognition of Porto Airport efficiency and growth potential, Ryanair has chosen this location for the new hub offering convenient connections not only to Porto itself, but also for passenger ins transit to other popular Portuguese destinations, such as Lisbon, Faro in continental Portugal and Ponta Delgada and Terceira, in the archipelago of the Azores.
This means that passengers travelling to either of those destinations will be able to connect through Porto, without the need to leave the airside of the airport, having to pick up their luggage up and check it in again for the remaining segment of their journey. Instead, the luggage will be checked in the airport of origin and checked out in the final destination.
With such an upgrade come additional routes; the carrier announced that 20 new destinations will be added to their implies that in the nearest future more 20 new routes will be added to Ryanair’s route map in Porto in the near future.
